As we mentioned yesterday we have been busily working behind the scenes to start the ball rolling in helping our neighbors in Giles, Pearisburg, Narrows, and Craig Counties.

Our neighbors need our help, and while we know that times are hard for everyone our neighbors really need our support!!!!

We will have two different days where you can bring your donations to our station and we will take care of getting them to the drop off points to our neighbors. The first date will be this Saturday October 5th from 8am to 8pm and then again on October 19th from 8am to 8pm.

We have had many questions of what is needed, so here is the latest list we were given... Non perishable and in date foods, bottled water, distilled water, cleaning supplies of all types, mops, buckets, brooms, trash bags, gloves, femine hygiene products, all kinds of toiletries, laundery detergents, laundry softner, bleach, dog & cat food, bug sprays, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, triple antibiotic ointments, hydrocortisone creams, allergy meds, rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide.

Please see our flyer and circulate it wide and far. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of our neighbors and now is our time as a community to rise up and start offering our hands to our neighbors. Please remember this one thing as you look in your heart to reach out to help "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was imprisoned and you came to visit me." Matthew 25: 35-36
